Food Security Programs
No one in our community should go hungry. Our food security programs provide immediate assistance while connecting families with resources for long-term stability.
Community Food Pantry
Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-4pm
Our choice-style food pantry serves 300+ families weekly, offering fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and shelf-stable items. Clients shop with dignity, selecting foods their family will actually eat.
Community Kitchen
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – Free hot meals, 11am-1pm
Serving 150+ nutritious, restaurant-quality meals daily in a welcoming environment. Everyone is welcome – no questions asked, no income verification required.
Home Delivery Program
For homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities who cannot access our pantry, we deliver groceries directly to their homes monthly—currently serving 85 households.

Youth Development Programs
Every young person deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. Our youth programs provide safe spaces, caring mentors, and enriching experiences that help youth reach their full potential.
After-School Program
Monday-Friday, 3pm-6pm | Ages 6-13
A safe, supervised environment where youth receive homework help, participate in enrichment activities, enjoy healthy snacks, and build positive relationships with peers and caring adults.
Summer Camp
8 weeks, June-July | Ages 6-14
Full-day summer programming combining learning and fun. Field trips, special guests, themed weeks, and activities that prevent summer learning loss while creating lifelong memories.
Teen Leadership Program
Year-round | Ages 14-18
Developing the next generation of community leaders through mentorship, service learning, college preparation, and leadership skill development. Teen gain confidence, clarify goals, and give back to their community.
Family Services
Life brings unexpected challenges. Our family services provide emergency support and ongoing assistance to help families navigate difficult times and build long-term stability.
Emergency Assistance
Financial support for immediate needs
One-time grants of $200-$500 to help families facing crisis. Assistance with rent, utilities, medical expenses, transportation, and other urgent needs that threaten family stability.
Case Management
6-12 month personalized support
Intensive, relationship-based support connecting families with resources, developing action plans, and providing accountability as families work toward stability and self-sufficiency.
Support Groups
Peer support and community connection
Free support groups providing safe spaces for shared experiences, mutual encouragement, and practical skill-building.

Community Building
Strong communities are built through connection, shared experiences, and neighbors supporting neighbors. Our community programs bring people together and strengthen the bonds that make Virginia Beach special.
Monthly Community Events
Third Friday of every month, 6-8pm
Free community dinners, family fun nights, neighborhood clean-ups, and celebrations that bring neighbors together, build relationships, and create a sense of belonging.
Skill-Building Workshops
Ongoing throughout the year
Free workshops teaching practical skills that improve quality of life and economic opportunity. Topics based on community input and need.
Community Garden
1-acre garden with 45 individual plots
Garden plots available to community members for growing fresh produce. Gardening workshops, tool sharing, and a welcoming community of growers. Surplus produce is donated to our food pantry.

- Walk-ins welcome during operating hours
- Bring ID and proof of address for first visit
Youth Programs
- Open to all Virginia Beach youth
- Registration required
- Sliding scale fees available (most programs free)
