New After-school Program Locations Opening This Fall

Exciting news! Coastal Community Partners is expanding our after-school program to two additional locations this fall, allowing us to serve 75 more youth across Virginia Beach.

Starting October 2nd, we’ll offer programming at Bayside Elementary and Princess Anne Middle School, in addition to our current Oceanfront Community Center location.

Our after-school program provides a safe, supportive environment where youth ages 6-14 receive homework help, participate in enrichment activities, enjoy healthy snacks, and build positive relationships with caring adults.

“The demand for quality after-school programming in Virginia Beach is significant,” said Marcus Johnson, our Director of Programs. “These new locations will help us reach families who previously couldn’t access our services due to transportation barriers.”

Each location will operate Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 PM during the school year. Programming includes academic support, STEM activities, arts and crafts, physical fitness, and character development.

Registration is now open! Sliding scale fees are available, and most families qualify for free programming. Transportation is provided from select locations.
